The Department for Transport has commissioned the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen), an independent research agency, to explore passengers’ experiences of reporting personal safety incidents. As part of this, we’d like to invite bus, train and underground transport staff to take part in a discussion to understand:

• Your experiences of handling passengers’ reports of personal safety incidents
• Your views of reporting channels, what works and what could be improved
• If you are comfortable sharing, your own experiences of safety as a transport staff member

Please read our taking part page for more information about the research, what taking part involves, and how your data will be used. If you have any questions please email: transportsafety@natcen.ac.uk

To register your interest in taking part, please complete this short (2 minute) survey.

The data collected from this survey will be securely stored and only accessible to the NatCen research team who will use it to contact selected participants.

Please note that we may not be able to include everyone who registers their interest in taking part.
